This is a project of a cheap modular-in-structure summer house which was designed for Nordjylland region in Denmark.
The design proposed a simple division of the house into two areas: sleeping/rest and common area. Moreover, it was required to get as compact building, as possible slightly over 120m2.
The bedrooms are designed as a bright space to give oportunity to use them as solitude. This was inspired by Danish badehotels.
In the same time, common space is quite large and open with many accesses to the outdoor terrace.
Both structure and facades are made of wood. with the main structural elements made from CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber).
